Delmon Young Wears USSR Shirt During Presser

When sports and politics intercept, I promise I will be there with an opinion on it.

During a press conference Tuesday, Tiger outfielder Delmon Young wore a shirt that had a communist party symbol on the front.

The more than controversial Young has already had his share of negative publicity this year. He was arrested over the summer for  yelling anti-Semitic things at  people.

And he is clearly not slowing down from his ways.

Though one would think this would catch a lot of attention from media and others, it has in fact not. A quick Google search shows almost nothing. Google just his name and his game three performance is the first, and only thing, that pops up in the news section.

It maybe for the best that no one is talking about it. But the fact that he is wearing (and therefore supporting) the communist party is pretty frighting.

UPDATE:

Young today was named ALCS MVP. This will further push the shirt out of the news.
