The New York Jets had the wood taken to them Sunday afternoon by the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks improved to 6-4 on the season, 5-0 at home, and are in great position to at least clinch a wildcard birth in the NFC. The Jets fell to 3-6 on the season, 1-3 on the road and pretty much have to win every single game if they want to have a chance to clinch a wildcard spot.
That’s not happening. Well, at least without Tim Tebow.
Last season the Denver Broncos rolled off six straight wins with the lefty throwing un-spiral, floppy like passes.
There was nothing special about Tim Tebow, but there was.
It’s not to say that Tebow will take the Jets to the Superbowl (or playoffs, or a winning record) if he was named the starter next week. But there is no reason to at least give it a shot.
I have no special reason for him to play besides the fact that Jets have nothing to lose. And I want it to happen.
